A few questions

I have a couple of questions that i am wondering if any of you know the answer too.

First, id like your opinions on what exhaust option i should do. im thinking that i might just run striaght pipes, or glass packs or flowmasters. im not sure what i should do as i dont know how they will sound. if anyone knows how they sound or what sounds best id be happy to hear your opinion.

Second, im more than likely going to be swapping a 460 into the mustang and was wondering what manual transmission would handle the 460 as it will be bored out to around 500-514 cid. I already have a C6 but would like a manual transmission.

If anyone has any answers i would love to hear what you have to say.

Re: A few questions

A stock Ford toploader with the 1 3/8 input shaft will work, and duals with a crossover pipe and 2 mufflers(I used Edelbrock Stainless steel) gives a good note.I went with 3 in pipes all the way through.

Re: A few questions

I've heard the TKOs were bigger than the T-5's(which is a common swap for the early models). I know in the 64 1/2 to 66 the tunnel has to be worked with to make a TKO to fit. But since the 67-68 can fit an FE and a C6, you should have any problems

Re: A few questions

I did the straight pipe route the first time out.... I drove it home then turned right back around and took it back and put flowmasters on it. Save yourself some gas and put the flowmaster on the first time.
