67 4 speed coupe

I came across this 67 coupe 289 4 spd. It is in bad shape. The interior is shot except for the front seats. The outside will need to be painted and most of the trim/accesories replaced. There is no visible rust, but a lot of bodywork was done. The rear tires are flat, and it will probably need to be trailered out. The guy is asking 7700 obo. Is that reasonable or too low?

I say he is out of his mind, but that what people think they will sell for. Did you see the floorboards and inside the cowl? Probably all rusted out.

I'd offer three thousand.

Yeah, I'd say he's asking a little too much. Even if it ran. It would be a different story if he had all new parts that you'd need to complete the car included.

Re: 67 4 speed coupe

Depends on how good the body work is, is it ready for paint?

Re: 67 4 speed coupe

I agree, from your description he's asking way too much.

Definately check the areas the others mentioned about rust. Keep in mind though, if you can get it for a sweet deal...dynacorn now makes almost every body part for the car.

Edit: wow, I just looked back after posting and saw how old this thread is. Ooops.
