65 fastback

Hey I just purchased a 65 fastback and it was a 70s show car. They graphed 68 firebird tail lights on the rear panel. The left side tail light is cracked. Can you get just the 68 firebird tail light lense or is the housing an lense all one piece. Bad question for a mustang site but they are on a 65 fastback which should be a unforgivable sin. All help appreciated prices for the whole housing is 90 a piece with is pricy compared to the 5 dollar lenses for a stock 65 mustang. Please help, thanks, Dom

I was thinking maybe I'll just cut them out and put 68 shelby lights in there place because they would cover the firebird tail lights conpletely

Go to classic industries. Google classic industries. Firebird/trans am. If it's just lenses for a 68, they have em. I personally find a set of gt350 tails and get a bodyshop to make em work.

So just the lenses are 90 bucks for a 68 firebird, jeez that's crazy. It might me worth it to just cut them out and bolt the 68 Shelby lights in
