Gas for my 1968 stock j code

I want to ask if anyone knows if unleaded gas is doing any damage to my 302 4v engine the only up grades I've got to it is a Edelbrock intake and a holey 4 barrel double pumper on it I'm thinking of putting 104 octane unleaded in it will that hurt me beside the price

I've been putting lucas octane booster in it cause all that Alaska has for octane is 90 and was considering on putting 5 gallons of 104 race octane in and topping it off with 90 witch is about 11 gallons I think it's a 16 gallon tank

If the motor hasn't been rebuilt in a while, run some lead substitute, it's good to run it every now and then

Yes lead will help the life of the motor, and as for the octane level. I wouldnt go with a higher octane, it would be kind of pointless. No real downside or upside. Cause if the motor isn't built up, a higher octane can sometimes make the car run worse
