will a 170 cam fit in a 200 inline six?

i've got a 170 and a 200 and i wanna switch the head cam and valves push rods etc from hydraulic to solid

You could if you keep all lodgers and push rods matched. I wouldn't think about using a used cam due to the affordability of a new one. You would get better performance with a performance cam and solid lifter set.

well i have a brand new head, push rods, cam, lifters, valves in my 170 but i found a crack in the block so i got a new block.... so as long as i put all of the stuff i listed all in together i'm golden?

You should be good to go. Make sure you break in the cam and use ZDDP additive.
