78 Mustang Coupe

Does anyone here know where I can find an after market timing system for my '78 Mustang II Coupe? Apparently Ford no longer makes it.

Im honestly not entirely sure. My mechanic and several other mechanics all say that the whole timing system is dead.

Re: 78 Mustang Coupe

hmmm, kind of a general diagnosis. Timing system would include, timing chain and gears, distributor, cap, rotor, brain box. You won't likely find anything all original parts (though it is possible) but you can buy everything you would need at a local parts store.
Whats going on with it, maybe someone could help.

Turns out all I needed was a new timing chain and spark plugs. Now on to the body work! Thank you all
