68mustang no start

I put in a 351w in my 68 coupe and it turns over but won't start. It's got a 650 edlebrock, points distributor. Here's the prob, I'm getting spark at the coil lead but not at the plug wires,( pulled plug wire with spark plug in it and no spark). On first turn over it seems to have spark but won't catch, then keeps turning over hopelessly. If any one has any info please help. Thanks.

The points are probably shot, unless they are just way out of adjustment. When I set them, I bump they key til the gap opens and then stick a matchbook cover between them. The width of the cardboard is usually perfect. U might want to look into the electronic ignition kit for under $100 and it's a lot more reliable on a daily driver
