Ive got a pair of 64 tbird lights

I bought my first 66 mustang project car, the car does not have the original tail lights, the previous owner gave me a pair of 64 tbird tail lights housing, lens and bezels(or at least thats what i think they are) SAE STDB 64TD. the panel has not been cut out yet,
My Question is: is there a stencil for cutting into the tail light panel to make these fit?

at this point, if its too much work, i might just trade for the original 66 or sell them

I bought the led panel so I didn't have to cut it. And you can sell those and buy regular 65 lights and pocket some cash too. Those go on 68 shrlbys also

I think you could get a few hundred for that setup if it's original. I sold a 68 Shelby rear panel with all lighting for 700

Cool, they are the same part no. both housing and lens the only difference is the bezel, one has a chrome lip and the other has a black lip as you can see in the picture,

If anyone is interested let me know, also willing to trade, my project car is still missing a bunch of stuff

Ok so did they weld the stock holes shut I can't tell?

And one is chrome plated? And the other is anodized most likely. You can spray easy off on it and it will be stainless under and you can polish to a high shine.

No the stock holes are untouched, they've got duct tape to keep the critters out

Ok yea, I would definitely not cut it out. To much room for error and if you want that look you can get a led panel like mine and you don't cut or drill anything so if you want to go back to stock you can. I'll get some pics up for you
