69 coupe

Have a New Lime 69 coupe. Can anyone tell me how do I find out what the color of the rear window trim should be? It's been a sort of bare metal color when I got it.

It's def not chrome. Why too wide. It wouldn't look right. It's the thick trim around the rear window. They are normally painted the same color as the vinyl top but I don't have that. I'll post a pic later

To tell you the truth I looked at some Picts online and I see both black and chrome. I think you should try and find some vintage photos or magazine ads of 69's. That's the only true reference that I had for my 67fb. That's how I found out about my rear quarters, hood and some other cosmetics. I'll try and to do some more research and give you some links.

I see 2 types of trims...one thin one and another about twice the width.

I agree with you guys on the black. The only thing that troubles me is that the molding is the original and it doesn't have any black on it. Meaning it wasn't meant to be black.
