1st gear & 2nd gear out!

Hello

Need help! My 1970 mustang's 1st and 2nd gear are out. It suddenly happened yesterday, it was driving just fine before now the shifter feels very loose when trying to gear into 1st or second. All others gears work just fine. Why did this happened? How can I fix it? What would the cost be? Any ideas?

Thanks!

Re: 1st gear & 2nd gear out!

Sure, sound's like the 1-2 shift rod came out of place.
