Rear shackles
I want to lower the rear of my car. Can I make shackles a little bit shorter? Like a 1/4 inch?

Lowering blocks are a more common way to lower these days. Adjustable shackles were popular in the 70's but that was to jack up the rear end! I found this website if you haven't already done something. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Alumin...ocks,3353.html.
I did not check for the type of car, was just confirming 1/4" was a possibility

Iv tried to get lowering blocks but the u bolts didn't fit on a couple pair. I'll just try a couple different brands
