1965 mustang 18" rims???

I have a 1965 mustang and I want to put 18x8 rims on it but I don't know if they will fit without doing any modifications. Does anyone know the answer? please help

they will fit you just need the right offset rims. a 8 inch rim is actually 9 inches outside to outside.

okay what you want to do is take the backspacing too. so take the rim, lay it face down, lay a straight edge across the middle of the rim lip to lip, then measure the distance from the back of the rims hub to the straight edge. that will give you the back spacing, you can do the same for the front also, then you measure it on your car from the brake hub probably the drum im guessing and compare to see iff it will work. if your looking at a set to buy ask what the backspacing is and ask what the front spacing(opposite of backspacing) is. i have 17x8 on my fb and it has 4.5 backspacing and it is to the edge of my fender but i still have a good 1 1/2 inch that i could go inside.
