Painless wiring harness

I just got my Painless wiring harness for my 68 at the door! Super excited! So many beautiful colors. I will start the process tomorrow by taking out the old wires. Any suggestions? My dad and I were told it will take about a week, but we still don't know what all we are getting in to. Thanks for replies.

Take lots of pics and take notes as you disassemble.
Make sure when pulling wires through any holes that the holes have grommets in them so you don't damage your new wires.
Try to find a factory wiring diagram in a Chiltons manual or on the net to guide you and good luck with your project.

Everything is pretty easy to figure out, some things will take a little pondering. Wiring diagrams will come in handy once in a while. U may need to get some extra conectors. The last Painless kit I installed didn't have all I needed and didn't have anything to wrap the wires in.
Id say its only really painless compaired to dealing with spools of wire. its easy to feel overwhelmed, just take it a step at a time. GL
