Here's the reading when I took the truck out just now. At about 30miles per hour and no more than 1200rpm at that speed. Not normal.

Ok, I still don't think 50 psi is going to actually "hurt" anything, unless it is caused by a blockage and something is starving for oil.

It should be 5w30 synthetic.

Is there a chance it has the wrong oil in it?


If you take it to one of the many different Jiffy Lube type places you can never be sure what they put in your car. I avoid them like the plague for that reason and others.


If you can verify the oil and it is correct you might try running a bit thinner oil (5W20) as that will help lower the pressure.

Well I heard from my engine guy that I could keep driving my jeep and that it's prob an electrical issue and not to worry. ))). Thanks everyone for your input !!
