Kickdown lever

He kickdown lever is MIA on my 68 I bought a new one but I'm clueless on how it goes in... Any suggestions?

Not sure how diferent it would be from my 73, but the long end connects to your tranni kickdown lever and the short end goes to the lower part of ur throttle lever. I believe it should be adjusted so at full throttle the lever is fully actuated. May have to test drive - adjust - repeat a few times.

EDIT: ur talking about the rod or the lever actually on ur tranni?
