New leaf springs

Has anyone upgraded their rear leaf springs on a 69-70 mustang? Mine are worn out and they let the car settle and never bring it back up so the rear wheels rub on the wheel wells when I hit a bump. Looking to maybe upgrade to the 5 leaf ones but I'm not sure if it'll make the car ride too rough. And I'm also worried that it may lift the rear of the car too much. Does anyone have any experience with the lowering springs and how well they work? Any insight would be much appreciated because I'd like to order them soon so I can drive it before the first snow fall.

Yeah that's what I was thinking but I'm worried that when you get 22 gallons of gas in it, it will settle too much and I'll be in the same spot and out 200 bucks.
