What is the point gap on a 1973 ford mustang with a 2.8 liter engine?

If you have a dwell meter set the points between 28 and 32 degrees, I used to set them at 30 and if you take a matchstick from a book of matches and set them with it you will be real close.

No such animal. However, point gap is typically .019, or 32 degrees on a dwell meter. Lots of folks used to use a beer tab back when they actually came off. The ring on the pull tab was roughly .019"
