1960s special edition mustang?

does anyone know the name of the special edition mustang that performed during the 1960s-70s? I know it started with an L but idk the name...

Well lthe first one was the 1964 Indy Pace Car, then there were lots more, check this time-line

Shelby doesn't start with L, but the first syllable rhymes with L. That's the best I can do.

Are you thinking of Landau ?? That was more of a top option and not a performance option. There was the California Special, all the Shelby's GT350 GT350H GT500 Boss 429. Boss 302 Mach1.

the only one i know of was the gt ,and the Shelby models those were the performers for the 60,s and early 70,s and the mach -1,which was introduced in 69 i think.good luck.

1960s special edition mustang?

There were a few "regional" mustangs that they produced, one called the "california special" for the California people. Then there was a few "hi mountain specials" they made for the Denver area. They had "shelby type" side scoops on some of them and also had the "65" T-bird tail lights. They may have named one the "laredo special" but ime not sure.
