In all honesty, like all vintage vehicles, it's worth what ever the seller is willing to sell it for and the buyer is willing to pay for it.

Original equipment and condition is everything. An original 260 V8 in a 1964 1/2, for instance, will immediately up the ante.

It depends on so many factors, you will really need to do more homework. The engine and options are a start. What you call "mint" and what collectors call mint are likely ot be very different. Is it all original, or has it been restored? How well was it restored? Whart documents to you have regarding it's provenance?

It could be worth anything from $10,000 to $1,000,000

I am guessing this is a joke, though. No one comes across a first-year Mustang in "mint" condition without knowing exactly what they have.

The value of any vintage collectible car is determined by the option packages included, originality, how complete the car is, the rarity of the model and the condition.

No way we can determine value here. Take it to a collector or broker and have the vehicle inspected and appraised.
