1974 mustang 2 c4 trans to aod what parts do i need?
You will need to cut the drive shaft to length. You will need to change the shifter linkage some. Check the crank to be sure that the torque converter will fit and that the flex plate has a matching bolt pattern. It will probably fit fine, but you may need to take a die grinder and grind out the pilot hole in the crank for the torque converter. I feel that the flex plate will fit fine. I plan on doing the same thing to the PintoLorean if I don't like the final drive gear. I'm running a 72 and I just don't think it will be a problem. Good luck, let me know how it turns out.
