Which is faster?

I own a shop, and think this; The red always out runs the blue.. every time! What if it was a blue fastback, and a red notchback? Color doesn't have much to do with it, or does it? These two vehicles are very equally matched in the horsepower, transmission, and differential departments, and I wouldn't swear the fastback has any advantage over the notchback. It might on the circle track going 200 mph, but put a spoiler on both of them, and they would be so close that no one could tell any difference. I own a drag car, and a truck in which I race. My car is red, and my truck is blue. The car is faster, but ole blue will hold its own on the strip. I have noticed the fastest cars at the track "all" seem to be the red ones. Why? I have no idea, but 90% of all the really fast cars seem to be the red one's. I know I don't imagine this, because I have been paying attention, and the red one's do seem to be the best running one's. If you swapped the engine, transmission, and differentials out of both of them, would the red one still be fastest? Yep, I think it just might be.
Glad to add my two cents worth!!!

Which is faster?

with a 1960's ford, make it the way you want. you can get most anything you want for it. so pick the body style you like the most.
what do you mean by faster. off the line or down the road.
all would depend on the rearend gears. want quick but not fast get yourself some 411 gears for it. a good mid range set of rearend gear is 373.

Fastback Dah. No seriously i think the fastback because of its design. the notchback is normal where as fast back has the slope at the back which helps with air resistance

Which is faster?

That's an easy one. The RED one of course! Not only that but the fastback was a tad bit more aerodynamic.
