Whats wrong with my 1967 ford mustang? its overheating?

ok so i just purchased this and i was cruising it around for about 15 mins and by the time i got home it was spitting water out of the radiator and steaming and boiling . all that good stuff . . i also realized it doesnt really have that much power and it is spitting water form the exhaust . and also when i pulled the spark plugs it looked like the plugs were just sitting in oil . I NEED HELP!!!!!!

Sounds like you have a blown head gasket.Pull the dipstick and see if the oil is turning milky or caramel colored too.Sounds like you should have looked this car over a little more closely

It could be losing oil. unless you yourself are skilled in mechanics, take it to a mechanic.

A little water from the exhaust is normal. Water is a byproduct of combustion and the trip down the pipe gives it enough time for some of the water to condense. More than the occasional drip could be an issue.

i was told that if your car over heats a lot you should turn on the heat i live in s.c. and we just finished our sports bike week and my buddy has a Honda that over heats alot in bumper to bumper traffic and he showed me that trick and the needle on the heat meter went back down as soon as he turned on his heat but i dont know much about car but i hope that helps....
