All of your suggestions are good prospects. It really depends on what you like best - personally, I like the '69 and '70 Mustang fastback (sportsroof per Ford). These are easily left stock or cloned into Boss or Mach 1 models.

1970 dodge challenger because you almost never see them anymore and my friend has a challenger as a project it would be unique to work on or a 1971 Monte car it depends why you are working on it if you want a fast cool car id work on the challenger or if you wanted a family or street car id take the Monte carlo

Chevys have always been easy to restore... Parts are easy to find, motors are cheap, and are very profitable when or if you sell it. '69 camaro ss all the way!!! So many different things you could do with that car. Small block, big block, 4 speed, auto, go stock, mild modified, wild modified. Let's say you go with the charger... You would HAVE to go with a 440 wedge or a hemi... good luck finding one. If you do, count on spending 30% more than you would for a big block chevy.

depends on your budget, you'll find the 90 ford mustang easier and cheaper to find parts than the 67/69 ford. I'm partial to a 69 dodge charger with a 440 six pack, 4:10 rear end with a 4 on the floor tranny, but my current project is a 88 mustang.

You have listed all the commonly seen cars. How about something a little more hard to come by. AMC AMX or Javelin, Olds 442, Buick GS, Mercury Cougar 1967-1973.

the G.M. cars will be less expensive because the parts are easier to come by and also i think more parts are interchangeable. I like the mopars best but the expense is greater

Since I'm a Mopar girl (see my name...), I'd definitely go with the Charger or Challenger.

If money is limited, maybe you could look into restoring a Duster Twister.

Good luck!
