Vg30dett into a 1964-1966 Mustang?

Is it at all possible to swap the Nissan 300zx (Vg30dett) into a classic Mustang? Is the VG too big? Is the Mustang engine bay too small?

the engine is to wide

use either a 302 or 351 small block in that narrow engine bay

edsels right, its too wide. stick with ford V8 for this project, a late model 302 injected would be sweet, and keep its purist value. Put the VG30DETT into something else, maybe a Nissan pickup/ SUV, or a classic racecar. A 1970 Ford Escort powered by a VG30TT recently won its RWD class at the NZ targa rally, was huge fun to watch, woulda been ballistic to drive!
