I have done numerous restorations myself, but personally I would take it to a local upholstery shop and have them do it for you if you already have the material and fitment--- a roof is really not something you want to be doing for the first time yourself. You may be able to watch if they let you--- then perhaps use that for the next resto- project car

Takes a few years to learn that. Not something you want to do and then have one mistake rip the top as it is actuated.
There is no video Upholstery that can teach hands on experience.
If you have the materials, and the Bow and parts are all good and in working order, take it to an Upholstery Shop and let someone that has done 15-900+ do it.
Top $300-$2000
Installation 3-7 hours@$55-$75 per
One bolt,Hanger,Bow,Listing,Panel or whatever is off and the entire thing is toasted.

i have done a lot of those, and the very best advice i can give you is take it somewhere and have it done one wrong pull or tug on it and you,ll rip a bad place in it,its a lot better to let a shop do this that does them all the time, this way their responsible for it,good luck with it.
