Would a 1965 red mustang coup look good with white stripes down the middle?

Some people say the stripes are "shelby" stripes and dont look good on coups but i think they look fine... so is it right to put stripes on it?

I had a 1972 Mustang that was dark orange with black racing strips down the middle..... it was a cool looking car!
