Will a 351W or C intake work on a 302?

Hey, I have a 1973 ford F100 302ci and was wondering if I could put this intake manifold on there (the idea is to get a spread bore holly on the truck) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-...spagenameZWD1V

I'm afraid it's a no go. The Cleveland is a big block and as such won't be close. The 351 Windsor, while a small block, like the 302 uses a wider intake manifold. Heads can be interchanged although in most instances. The only difference in them is the size of the bolts used to mount them to the block. The 302 uses smaller bolts than the 351. How do I know....because my 351 is running with 302 Mustang heads. They flow better, but I had to enlarge the bolt holes. On the bright side for you, finding a 4 barrel intake for a 302 should be an easy thing to do given the proliferation of the venerable 5.0. Have fun with it.

It won't fit. A 351 has a wider manifold. Here's the thing about small block fords... they have small valves and ports in the heads. A carb larger than around 500 cfm on a stock 302 will actually make the performance worse with stumbling at low rpms and poor atomization of the fuel.
Headers and port matching of the intake and heads will help it more than a big carb.

Look at the size difference, and the bolt pattern that should answer the question for U: if not NO!

NO.
While you can put cleveland heads on a 302 it takes a special manifold and a lot of work.
If you want to put a spread bore on that replace the stock carb spacer with an adapter.
This one may not be the one you need but it will give you and idea.

All you can do is see if it will bolt up to the heads but if you have the 351W you should put that it the truck

Cleavland is a def no. the windsor depends on the 302, but more than likely no( without a little machining).

351W has a wider intake than 302, 351C takes 400 cylinder heads
