Any locksmith can make a new key from the door lock in just a few (two or three) minutes. My buddy lost his keys to a 66 Fairlane (some forty years ago) and we hot-wired it, drove it to the locksmith and he made a key from the passenger door lock in only two minutes. I was amazed.

ok question is did you loose the key or the starter?
if you lost the key you might have to take out 1 of the door locks and take it to a locksmith.
if you lost the starter go to a parts store and buy a rebuilt one

I would go to Mustangsunlimited.com or maybe CJponyparts.com. They have tumblers and key sets in stock and are not very expensive at all on those items.
