1974 mustang ii question?

Ok, so my buddy owns a 1974 mustang ii fastback, he has 3 of them. They all are in a junkyard and between all of them I think I can make a whole. Are they any what rare as a fast back and are they worth fixing up?

1974 mustang ii question?

The biggest trouble is finding parts. They weren't real popular and aren't very popular among collectors so there aren't many reproduction parts available for them. The '65 to '73s are very popular and practically every part on them are available but with the Mustang iis, if you can't find the part(s) in a junkyard you're basically out of luck.

1974 mustang ii question?

the 71-73's are just starting to become collectable, so it can/will be worth the money to restore one of those.

M2's however aren't desirable or even good looking so they're not worth the time it would take. Plus finding specific parts for them would be next to impossible since no one makes reproduction parts or anything (manily because they're so undesireable)

The general public doesn't view them as desirable. But if you like them, go ahead. There are still a lot of parts available and stay available.

That's the first year and didn't offer a v8 until 75, but they are collectible, just not worth the money to restore one..
