How do i remove the stock stereo from a 1977 mustang II?

im helping a friend with restoring his car, and i need to remove the radio. how do i get the stereo out of it? and what does it take to put in an aftermarket stereo? i have installed stereos before but just not in a car that old. any suggestions?

How do i remove the stock stereo from a 1977 mustang II?

the radio is install in the dash and them the dash install in the vehicle

so it is not easy to get it out of there some vehicles have more space but still very close o
some of the radios i remove came out in pieces
there was no other way

remove all the wiring and the bracket behind the radio
