Top ten muscle cars of all time?
I could never put them in any kind of order. The management reserves the right to add and drop cars without notice.
1970 Buick GSX. Damned rare, beautiful.
1985 Mercury Capri ASC/MacLaren. I like the blocky shape
1987 Buick GNX
1981 Chevy Citation X-11. Not a muscle car, not even especially powerful, but it shocked the hell out of a lot of people, how much power and performance could be teased out of that car. It was the fastest iteration of the X-11 series.
AMC Javelin. All years. A Camaro for non-Chevy guys.
1970 AMC AMX. Different enough it gets its own mention. And what the heck, I like the orphans.
1988 Toyota Supra Turbo. Strictly speaking, not a muscle car. But that engine was oh so sweet, and turbo made it sweeter. Check the torque on the headbolts though.
1986 Ford Escort GT. Yeah, an econobox. But when so many cars on the road were econoboxes, the GT was nippy and fast. Alternatively, the Toyota FX 16-GT was a hoot, too.
1969 Ford Torino Talladega. If I could have only one car on this whole list, it would come to a wrestling match between this and the Javelin.
1992 GMC Typhoon. Rode in one once. Holy crap was it ever quick, no sport-ute has any business being that fast. All that go, plus seating for four! And you can fit groceries in the back!
