What can i do to make my classic mustang have more horsepower?

i have a 1968 mustang fastback 302 j code i know my mustang has 250hp (horse power)
from factory and i would like to make it around 300 hp i had around 2k to spend on the motor
any tips or ideas on what i can do to it

Carbs, intake, cam, headers, solid state ignition, etc....There are hundreds of high performance items you can buy for your Mustang from a huge number of Mustang suppliers..check the Magazine rack at a local store.. or search the internet..
