I am gonna run a 2" dual exhaust system from OEM exhaust manifold, don't need long tube headers for my 1965 Mustang 289-V8 2V. Should I get Magnaflow mufflers or Magnaflow glasspacks, or another brand of glasspacks?
Your shooting yourself in the foot if you leave the manifolds on. You might as well just put/keep a single exhaust system and put what ever muffler you want on it.
If the exhaust 'chokes' up leaving the cylinder head then nothing after that is gonna help power or fuel mileage or even sound.
If you want a good system then start with a good set of headers, then dual 2" pipes, an H or X pipe, and two good mufflers. Myself I like dynomax ultra flo mufflers
I recommend mufflers, but it's a personal preference. Glasspacks don't sound bad on an old V8, but I prefer the throatier, deeper sound of mufflers, as opposed to the popping "tin can full of rocks" sound of a glasspack.
