I want my 1969 mustang to get more mpg?,how can i?

Iv read about a few muscle cars who are made to get from 25 to 50 mpg more

I was wondering what could I put in my 1969 mustang to get more mpg
I only get about 10 mpg now

How much would it cost if I can?

Keep it properly tuned and maintained. Carburetor adjustments, timing, air filter, tire pressure, all that stuff. Don't drive it like a race car. It won't make a dramatic difference, but it will help you get as best MPG possible.

Resto-mod it and install a fuel injected crate engine. basically a plug and play package. Cost would be $2500 and up.
