Rim size on a 1966 mustang?

ok im looking at buy a set of rims online bt before i spent big money in to rims that wont fit i would like to know if any one know if i could put a 18x8 rim with a +42mm offset i know that i can fit the 18x8 rim bt the offset is what throughs me off any help thank the car is totaly stock

Rim size on a 1966 mustang?

Measure what you have right now and measure your clearance inside the fender. Remember to take into account the sidewall bulge on the tires. I tried to figure this out with my 69 firebird and what I found online was way off and I was glad I checked.
