Will 205/75-14 tires fit 14x7 wheels? will 225/45-17 tires fit 16x8 wheels?

i want to buy staggered wheels for my 1973 mustang. that would be the 14x7 and 16x8. would the tires fit though?

You need to look at the specs from the tire manufacturer for the wheel width recommendation. I know acura tl runs 235/45/17 on a 8" rim so that should be ok. 7" seems a bit wide for a 205/75.

14" tyres will fit on 14" wheels, but you can't fit a 17" tyre on a 16" wheel.

Had 5 Mustangs. the last two were a Black 2012 GT/CS lowered, custom wheels, Airaid CAI, Flowmaster Outlaws, BAMA tune, MMD hood struts, Raxiom Black Halo headlights, 13-14 tail lights, & Raxiom Taillight adapters. Removed the 2012 GT/CS stripe (black on black sucks) Replaced with 13-14 Silver GT/CS stripes. I now have a 2015 Magnetic Gray Premium GT with Performance Pack, Borla's, Velgen 20" wheels with Nitto Invos with 275's up front,and 295's in the rear. Airaid CAI, JLT oil separator.

What do you want the side walls to look like? And breaks do you have/ plans for breaks? 14 is pretty small
