1968 Mustang Console

Howdy does anybody have a few good pictures of the console and overhead console installed in there car. I am looking to get one for my 68 coupe with the C4 auto in it along with an AC unit. What I am wondering is how does the older aftermarket AC unit fit with it?

Anybody have a good source for a used console? The ones I am finding on E-bay are pretty step.

Those are pretty rare to find. Most of the ones of seen at mustang parts stores are about $1,000 for the lower. Even in a mustang graveyard, I'll bet they've all been picked out. Good Luck.

Here's an old pic I had. No overhead console. I can get more if you want.

Thanks don't worry about the overhead shot I should be able to figure that one out pretty easy. Can you tell me if the console is metal or ABS plastic? I found an aftermarket plastic one I am thinking about getting with everything including the brackets. The cost on the other hand might mean it will be awhile.

The black parts aren't a hard ABS plastic... It's more like the material for the dash pad if I remember correctly
