nice link. installing a/c in a car, any car, that didnt have it to begin with is not that hard, but it is time consuming. in addition to installing the drive belt brackets, compressor, evaporator, condenser, receiver/drier, hoses, and all the other little bits and pieces, you still have to evacuate the system, leak check it, and then add the refrigerant. you need the proper gauges for the type of refrigerant you are going to use, and if you want R12 forget it unless you are certified by the EPA.
that said i dont want to discourage you from installing your own system, but definitely have a pro do the leak check and charge the system.
