Install an AC?

The thought of adding one into the car sounds nice but what all is needed in doing so? I've found on CL a stock AC unit that came out of a 65 mustang but its just the console. What else would I need and how difficult is the installation?

You will need a compressor the hoses a new belt brackets to hold it up power from some place then someone to charge it.

There are after market kits with everything you will need to install one the install is not easy but I am sure it is very doable with normal hand tools and some time.

that said i dont want to discourage you from installing your own system, but definitely have a pro do the leak check and charge the system.
