Off to the shop she goes!

Well she's gone for a month, dropped suspension, sway bars, panhard bar, front disc setup and some other goodies!. Some rims, tires and then STRAIGHT to the track in Mai. Suggestions are always welcome. FYI, it's for road racing.

Haha...I wish all three of them were mine! The 85fox is a drag car and the other 67 in the back is a long term project that my mechanic is working on. He's planing on putting the 67 shell on a 94 cobra chassis.

As for mine, I figured you live once and I would regret not racing my fastback. How many chances does someone have of owning the classic of ALL classic mustangs??? Let alone getting a chance to put it on the track. Who agrees with me?

The work is coming along.....as you can see, sub frame connectors are going on. Out front you can see the passenger side torque box and the rims mounted 245-50-16. It's taking time but doing it right. On the weekend we should be mocking up for the panhard bar+traction bars.

She's on all fours again ! Got the brakes done, rims on some nice 245-50-16's all around. In back you can see the panhard bar, sway bar, traction bars and also the frame connectors. We also got rid of the white decals on the bottom of the doors and we will be adding 2 Matt black racing stripes front to back. Also, we ended up adding a passenger side torque box which for some weird reason the 67's didn't have any. Only in 68 did they add it.

It completely stabilizes the diff. It keeps it from swaying side to side on cornering. It's supposed to make the car run like a go kart !! Lol

Yup...just the tail end of them needed to be modded a little. The upper curve that runs over the diff had to be widened a bit. But real simple.

Physically make the curve wider by cutting and adding a small section of pipe to the top end. Make any sense?
