late model AOD trans swap

Has anyone done the AOD five speed swap in their early mustang I have lots of questions like will a bell housing from a T5 fit that trans? Will the cross member from a T5 fit it?

Just to clarify, an AOD is an Automatic OverDrive 4 speed automatic. A T-5 is a 5 speed manual with overdrive.

Bell housing would not interchange from the T-5 to the AOD.

AOD and AODE are four speed. Three with overdrive.

The 4R70W that the guy refers to is also 4 speeds, 3 and OD, according to the company he references for the controller. I would go to their website, the company was Baumann Electronic Controls.
