I've got a 67 w/ 289 and C4. The tranny was leaking and slipping, pulled it out and rebuilding it. The car has a transmission cooler but it's fairly worn. It's a DD, so I don't think it's really that necessary. The question is, should I replace it or just take it out and not use one?
