looks pretty straight, any rust issues ,is it a repaint, engine should be no problem to get going , providing it was running well when it was parked. trans seals and clutches can get brittle would expect it needs rebuilt, most likely c4 or c3. very simple to build, no special tools needed and complete kit cost less than $100.

Its a pretty straight & clean looking car & well It hasn't been used in 6 years which isn't that long soo starting it up wouldn't be a problem. I wouldn't go over 7000 though.

Hey I checked it out. Color is faded on roof and hood and turn but sides are gloss green. It's pretty clean as upholstery was good shape. No rust on car but I did not see engine as latch would not open :/ he said if we could go over there and get I running he'd lock off the price a little. It was his first car when he was 15 and he is 26 now. The tags read it was last driven in 2005. I might jump on it

She's a beauty man. I'd scoop it up in a heart beat even at 4k. For whatever reason it's not running, 4k is not a bad price. Just might need a quick tune up and you'll be good. Paint can always come later. It's making sure the driving and suspension are in good working order that come first. But on another note, that interior looks to have been redone because it looks amazing. Moral of the story, GO BUY IT and ENJOY my friend

The trunk is super easy to clean up. Replace your gas tank if it's rusted that's an easy project. That engine looks like mine did so I bet it will run easily. I love that green

Looks fine. Seems like it might be what they called a Sprint 200 or Millionth Mustang "special edition". Looks like the air cleaner is chrome. Would have originally had wire spoke hub caps, rocker molding, no quarter ornament, and a "C" pinstripe (along the body line on the side). Did any of that survive? Especially the hub caps?

---------- Post added at 11:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:56 PM ----------

Never mind, I just looked back at the original pics.the spinner hub caps are pretty cool. Somebody either added the quarter ornaments or the chrome air cleaner. Ornaments are more likely. Still looks like a great car.

I don't think you'll lose money if your patient. Look at it this way, the guy still has it, so the demand is not that high.

I bought my old 66 I6 for 3k plus overdue tags put it up at 3900. But I bought the actual car for 3. It ran and everything. I guess it also depends on the area you're in. I sunk 1400 into the damn thing and I wasn't patient so I decided to sell. Everyone lowballed me 2, 1.5k so I ended up straight trading a friend for my new 02 V6. It's a moneypit I can tell you that. If you can do the work yourself they you can get your money back, but if you can't you might as well keep the car. The I6's aren't worth as much as the 289's

With the body in the condition it is now, hood looks good interior looks great you could probably part it out and make your money back just on the interior! I've been pricing dash pads and seats, they arnt cheap! I'd buy it at least for the interior and such, if your worried about it being drivable. But I believe you should have no problems getting it running! Buy it!
