5 Leaf Springs

Here's pics of me in the car and one without. My wife said it looks like about an inch difference with me in the car. I weigh about 275 so it's a pretty good spring. I got the Scott Drake 5 leaf springs from CJ Pony Parts. Ride is not rough with low pressure gas shocks.

That is one clean side. And wheels. How come you got new springs? Too much sag?

Exactly. I had some very old helper spring shocks that were no longer functioning as shocks so I replaced them. I knew they were holding the car up, I just didn't realize how much. Since we often have 4 people in the car, I decided to try the 5 leafs for extra support. So far I like them a lot. Spent 3 hours on Woodward Avenue last night and didn't lose a single filling from my teeth!

Update on the rear springs. They didn't settle like I thought they would so I used 1" lowering blocks. If the pic is upside down I can't help it! Tried many different ways. Always came out upside down! Also got new BAG'S for the trip to Charlotte for the 50th bash.

Your ride looks sweet, mine still has original leaf springs so I'm definitely gonna have to get some new ones

Just remeber with springs be careful it won't ride the same. Spring rate depends on a lot mods and what u want it to do in a corner
