GT 40 heads or not

I got a 351w out of a 71 Galaxy and wondered if adding the GT40's would help without doing to much more. I do have a cam already installed

I hate it when you make a thread and nobody replys haha so I have been thinking about much the same thing with a 302 but I'm not sure if you would need to be worried about if it has a smaller combustion chamber or not. but ether way here is a link to a web site that will tell you anything you want to know about the GT40 heads!

For the right price with a decent port and policy gt40s kick ***. Just get a good set of springs and a valve job . You will be happy

No problem and I agree with Newline I have heard of many 302's hiting 300+HP with nice cam litely ported GT40 heads and a nice intake with headers. Should be even easier to hit that mark with a 351!

since out of the box GT40 heads flow better than the stock heads, it makes sense to use them. and while there are better heads on the market, why spend money you dont need to spend.

Thanks all for you input, I've been taking my time to put it together(right) and I think the hardest part comes when 5 or 6 people tell you something different than what u thought was the best move to make. But I will be up and running by next summer.
