Ha, just kidding, my stang is a GTA, but I find it hilarious that manual cars actually are a theft deterrent. Do you get an insurance break?

Hahaha, it is a good theft deterrent! The people I taught are moving to a 3rd world country and will most likely have to drive a stick when they get there. I didn't get an insurance break! I should though!

It seems like everywhere I travel, manual trans is the norm. My first car was a manual, drove it for 5ish yrs. I forgot how much I missed it until we rented a stick in Germany last summer. Granted it was a no-power Opel Astra 4 banger, but shifting again was a blast! Thankfully it is like riding a bike. I did a couple practice laps in the lot just to get used to the friction point, the it was right into German traffic.
