I am wanting to put stripes like this on my 1968 coupe. Even though these are for a newer model they should still be able to fit right?

Or would the body lines be way off?

The '68 had a beautiful stripe option that was basically the opposite of what you have shown.

Yea I've seen that stripe too. I just kinda liked the one I posted a little better for my own kinda custom look. I can find them for 69 and 70 mustangs but they all say boss 302 so that wouldn't really work for mine. Thanks though, I might just have to settle for the c strips for 68

I like your thinking but I believe the body lines of the '68 would interfere with the look you desire. Best of luck.

Why don't you try a little photoshop first! Might be easier, I tried that with my rims and at least it gave me an idea. Snap a pic of your car and add some graphics online or you can even print and draw it in by hand. Just my opinion. I think it would look great btw.

I think it could work well. Don't know if the new stripe kit will "fit" the 68 quite right, but I like the idea.

Yea. And I don't want to order them and then it not fit right and be stuck with them so I'll figure something out. I just really like the look of those stripes

I know that they have them for a boss in 69 and 70 but I can't put boss 302 in it, just wouldn't be right. I'll check that sight out and maybe I'll get lucky

Found them for a 70 sports roof. I would guess that it would fit fine on a 68. The body can't be to much different

Might work...my biggest question would be how the decal horizontal lines align with the body lines down the side of the doors. If the decal goes on either side of the concave part then it could look pretty sweet. But if it winds up partly on/inside the concave part it might look off.

Yea that's a good point. It wouldn't look good at all if it went over the lines on the car.

If anyone has a mustang with those stripes, if you could send me some measurements on how wide they are then that would be great!
