Tie rods

Hey guys I can't get my inner or outer tie rod joints to slide out is there something in there to keep it from popping out? I've slammed it with a rubber hammer hope I'm not doing damage.

You need a Tie Rod splitter to pop it apart. Head to Harbor Freight and get a cheap one.
