Finally complete

After two years of unwelcome surprises I can finally say that I'm done. It started out a a car that I was told only needed a rear main seal and paint. As I got into it I realized that the doors were rotted out along with the fenders, somebody had already hacked quartered on it and Stevie wonder apparently did the bodywork. As for the motor and trans, I had to punch it .040 over and completely rebuild it (the bozo I bought it from never bothered to torque the mains or rod caps) and had to put the correct 28 oz flex plate back in (someone put on a 0 oz). Literally everything on the car had to be replaced/rebuilt. Click image for larger version

Damn it came together nice though! i'm nearing the two year mark of rebuilding my '02 pretty completely and totally understand finding a lot of things wrong. You did a really good job.

Beautiful!

Are you sure your done? One restorer once told me that a car is restored when the following happens: you open the door, and toss money inside; when no more money fits inside, close the door. The car is restored.
