Bumpers

Does anyone know where I can get a nice set if bumpers for a 68 coupe? I looked on cjs but all I found was the Chinese replacements. Does anyone sell OE rechromed units?

Are your bumpers still in good shape just the chrome is messed up? If so check around there a few places that still do chroming. I know my front one can be redone but my rear is bent, I am going to see if the chrome can straighten it then chrome it. If not I will hit CL and E-bay until I find one that can be.

Bite your tongue paint. I guess you could but I would use the cheap Chinese chrome before I painted them.

I understood regular paint. I really don't think they would look right on the car painted. That is just me and it is not my car.

I do like the painted ones on track cars but I was looking for chrome. I'd get mine rechromed but they're the cheesy Chinese ones and the figment isn't what I would like it to be
