I think your gauge cluster wiring will be wrong and you will have am extra wiring going to your coil?

I wish I was better with electrical. And what is significant about the "with or without tach"?

That looks like that's the piece. Do you know where to find them? Or should I just buy one for a 68? And that one is without tach?

So are you wanting to send me your harness? Is it in pretty good shape? I'm pretty sure that's the part that I am needing.

Alright, the ignition pigtail came in last week and I will try to get it installed tonight or as early as possible. I start school on Monday again so my time will be greatly limited after that between school and work. A very big thanks to Tyoung68 for his help in sending me the ignition pigtail. I will be sure to give you credit when this bad boy fires up again!

The wires that are existing don't seem to match up very well. This thing is a wiring mess. Red/blue is ignition and the yellow is transistor right?

Not yet. I am still trying to make it through my mess of wiring. The connection on the voltage regulator by the driver headlight is pretty corroded so I am cleaning that off. (Not sure what to use other than baking soda) and it looks like I have nothing plugged into the other side of the ignition relay. Can't quite figure it out

Alright guys. Here is my update. I know it's been a while. So my friend that told me he could help out and would have it running in an hour cut up my wiring from the harness I bought so I could bypass the resister and he bypassed everything to get it to start. The car did nothing. Batter is brand new. My brand new electronic ignition ignitor iii is showing no signs of life now and my wiring is a mess. So my question is... where can I get the color matching wiring at without buying a $500 harness. I am short on funds with class starting again. I'm really at a loss and this car has me pretty down. Any ideas? Thank you in advance

Man, that's a bummer. I was coincidentally looking at harnesses for a 67 when I read this. Without getting the whole thing, it looks like you can only get the under dash, instrument cluster, alternator, headlight or taillight harness pieces separately - at least from CJPP.

Another option is finding someone who has replaced theirs and didn't throw it away or find a 67 in the junk yards. You could use what you needed from it, but you're still working with 47 yr old wires.

The guy I bought my car from has a 67 FB project he's building and a 67 coupe for parts. I can shoot him an email and see what he has if you want to go used.

Yeah I couldn't find quite what i needed from CJ I don't think. Unless those seperate harnesses would fix my issue. My harness actually seems pretty new but the wires that splinter off of it are crappy and seem pretty worn. So I figured I could just wire from the harness to the given spots with some new car coated wire if I could find it. Let me know of you find anything out.
